Normally I tend to think that the rapper/singer thing is a bit overdone, especially since a lot of rappers just cannot sing. So imagine my surprise to find one who can. The California group EYEGOTME is serving up something very different for the ladies on this track. It is an ode to the women who can rock leggings (the proper way) and get a man’s attention. M. Dot graces the track with a dope singing vocal that almost makes you forget that he can rap. Hollo comes on a with a playful verse (which could use a little work). But we are definitely feeling it.
The California based artist “Barak The Rapper”has made quite the impression in the music game. With his two previous visuals Be Someone and Take Bow receiving great reviews from credible media outlets and blogs, Barak is back with his latest offering Bluffin’. On this Goldo produced track, Barak speaks to the naysayers and others who talk a good game, and claim that they what it takes to achieve success in this industry. Barak boast “If you don’t know get a clue” as he refers to those who claim he’s not a credible emcee and challenges these naysayers to do what he does. Barak thoughts on these guys “It ain’t nothing tho, it’s really nothing tho, they say a lot of sh*t, the really just be Bluffin tho”. Checkout Barak’s latest offering Bluffin and see why Barak is the real deal.
The time is always right for a record that would bang in the strip club. EyeGotMe has the perfect record to get the party jumping and the girls dancing. In this upbeat and energetic track, M. Dot and Hollo turn up for the chicks who like to twerk.

BUT WHO DID IT BEST?!
Let us know, COMMENT!
Hip Hop newcomers EYEGOTME are a welcomed edition to the music scene. Their feel good music has quickly placed them on the map. We first caught wind of them with their single “What’s Good” feat. Problem. Their lyrics and playfulness stood out in an industry that could use a little party music. We caught up with them to find out a little more about the group and why they can definitely say “I don’t know about you, but I know EYEGOTME” and listen to their single after the jump.
First of all thanks for taking a few minutes with us. Please introduce yourself to our readers.
M Dot: I don’t know about you, but I know “EYEGOTME” #yahp!!!!! What’s good?!?! This is your boy M Dot from EYEGOTME Ent, Reppin’ 313 all day everyday!!!!!
Hollo: My name is Leon aka Hollo The God; I was raised in Jersey City, NJ on Bartholdi Ave. Next to Curry Woods Projects.
Tell us about your musical beginnings.
M Dot: I was raised in the heart of Motown, where first you started off in the church and everyone around you was musically inclined. I always had a fascination with the art of storytelling through your music.
Hollo: Hanging out with my friends in the community, who where 5 pertcenter, Israelite, and Christians, our fun activity we had on the block was battling one another after school or even during church just to prove who was the better MC and have bragging rights. Due to our different belief a lot of battles conceited of many religious punchline that upset one another, and our thing was who ever got upset first truly lost the battle. Most of the time I would win and because of that many of my 5 pertcenter friend would call my flow “God body,” because my lyrics was so disrespectful everyone’s always chanted,” nigga that sum hollow shit.”
Your first single has Problem on it. How did that collaboration come about?
M Dot: One day I was listening to Power 106 and I heard his hit song “Like Waat” on the radio. i immediately went to Twitter sought out his manager, we worked out some numbers and he blessed us with a hot verse
California-based hip-hop EYEGOTME is pleased to announce the release of their new single featuring fellow California artist Problem.
The duo comprised of rappers M Dot (a Detroit, MI native) and Hollo (a Jersey City, NJ native) paired up with Problem for their debut single “What’s Good” produced by Clyde Strokes (French Montana, YG, Problem, Uncle Murda). The energetic track is completely reminiscent of the Cali sound that has garnered them attention and a fan base on the West Coast. “What’s Good” is the first single off of their forthcoming mixtape Genesis 3:22 set to release in June.
EYEGOTME was formed with the desire to direct, conduct emotion and inspire through music. The group was born out of M. Dot and Hollo’s similar life experiences and passion for music. Currently making a name for themselves in California, EYEGOT ME is ready to step on to the big stage and bring their movement to the forefront.
