Well Damn…Christie Brinkley…At 60!!!

Daaaaaaaaammmmmmmn! Alright now that I got that out for the whole team here at SA2Fresh, I will try and offer some commentary on this cover, which is by all accounts incredible. Yes I know there is this magical miracle known as airbrushing but as good as she looks, I doubt she needed much of it. After 3 kids, 4 husbands and 60 years, Christie Brinkley looks nothing short of amazing….Kudos Mama!!! Hell….STANDING OVATION!!

Fresh Looks: Algee Smith (@itsalgee) Takes on DJ Khaled’s “I Wanna Be With You”

Singer/songwriter/ rapper Algee Smith is taking on yet another cover and putting his own spin on it. This time he takes on DJ Khaled’s “I Wanna Be With You” and makes it genuinely his own doing both the rapping and singing on the record.

Algee is continuously showing his diversity  as he masters his lane along with a few others. The video also stars upcoming singer Jharee Stephens as his leading lady.

Having been seen on various shows on Nickelodeon, Lifetime and Disney, Algee is taking the time to break into the industry to follow his passion for music and demonstrate his ability to stand out.

 

Fresh Sounds: Jesse Boykins III (@jesseboykins3rd) Covers Drake’s “From Time”

For the record, we love Jhene Aiko and Drake but what Jesse Boykins III did to this record clearly overshadows the original. Jesse’s perfect, hauntingly beautiful tenor and introspective lyrics can but you deep in your feelings. It is absolutely amazing the way he took the song and made it his. He adds rapper MoRuf88 and it gives the record even more power. Fresh Artist To Watch: Rhyon Brown (@Rhyon_Nicole) “Girls Love Beyonce” Cover

Rhyon Brown is most known from her portrayal of ‘Lizzie Sutton’ on the award winning television series Lincoln Heights. Now, a senior at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, she has added writing, directing and producing to her ever expanding list of accomplishments; making impressionable marks and solidifying her name in the entertainment industry.

In her most recent project, she teamed up with her sister RaVaughn (Compound U/Columbia Recording Artist) as the director of her new video “Best Friend” which was also written by Rhyon. 

Rhyon collaborated with singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger to cover Drake‘s massive hit “Girls Love Beyonce” but adds a flavor of Destiny’s Child past anthem “Say My Name” into the mix, and it is phenomenal! Check it out below… S/O to Stufflypeoplelike for introducing this young lady!
