She used to be one half of the girl group, Kimo, who received praise from major industry heavyweights, Missy Elliot, Timbaland, and Eve. Now stepping out on her own years later, Monét is ready to take on the world. She is breaking through the industry doors without any hesitation while she jumps on the Dead Presidents instrumental. Do not let her looks confuse you, her lyrical skills are that of a rapper who’s been in the game for 15+ years.

On her version of Dead Presidents, she takes us back to old school rap where there’s a story within the lyrics. Monét raps about her past when being a rapper was just a dream to more present matters in her life such as, dealing with guys who don’t practice what they preach. She proves that she can definitely produce some amazing music on this track. These were the words uttered by Alabama Bible Rapper Marshall Pope as he attempted to freestyle on live television. This was hilarious, I mean the sheer struggle on his face at that moment when Marshall realizes he has to freestyle. The awkward moment when the host tries to save Mr. Marshall by asking him “Do you want to read from your book?” , and he still can’t even read his poetry straight. Shot in St. Emilion, France. Daytona really felt the pure vibes and the atmosphere of this old city. Known as the most famous region in France for wine, this city also has amazing architecture. On the spot, The Kid Daytona just decided it would be perfect to shoot the visual for his  “Picasso Baby freestyle” here.  Daytona says “A kid from NY’s inner city, out in the world enjoying and living life.
